Zoey loves crafts, but I have to admit that I’ve slipped up on facilitating them lately. My favorite one-stop-shop is the Dollar Tree, because everything is literally $1.00. And there are so many things you can buy that are versatile.

These are great for crafts, especially for little ones. When Zoey was 18 months or so, I used to put her in her high chair with a paper plate and some non-toxic paint and let her go to town. It’s great sensory play, and I loved the end result of her little finger prints sploshed across the page in every color of the rainbow.
But really, you can make almost anything out of a plate. Get inspired.
Great for games and organization. More inspiration.
These are great for stringing beads, making jewelry or home-made decorations. They’re also fantastic for practicing fine-motor skills. Even more inspiration.
These little balls are the answer to everything. Use them as decoration or use them as a tool! (Worth noting: clothespins AND pom poms together = sponge for painting) These things are the pom. (I had to.)
If you don’t already have these at home, head over to your closest Dollar Tree where you can get all of them for just a buck. #WinningCrafts for days for just a buck... Click To Tweet
